Overheard from SIMCO 2011

Many of you know we just returned from a two week training at our organizations headquarters USA headquarters in North Carolina. Our favorite quotes from the trip are one way to sum up the silly moments in an amazing time of training and fellowship.

“Can I manufacture it myself?” -J- asked about medicine, car parts and a taser…

“Chester!” -the name the class has given to our unborn son, in honor of J-‘s chest hair…we are not convinced.

“Look Dad the baby is doing sign language in mom’s belly” -P- during prayer time while I was interpreting a song

“Thank you I especially liked the water” -R-, “complimenting” the cooks after a meal that she was not entirely fond of.

“No! No! No!” -W- loudly for everything

“Mom this is not an african bus there are no pigs or sheep!” -P-

“I am going to ride a bicycle to South Sudan!” -R-
