Thank you for your prayers. We have felt so sustained by them. Everything is a bit raw to process well but what we don’t need time to process is how grateful we are for you. God has worked in some very powerful ways and “perfect timing” situations abound which we will share later. When the Dr. checked us in Saturday night he explained that Flower-girl “looked” more alert then when we had checked her in last week but the reality was this was more serious and we were reminded of that over the course of the next 36hours.
God faithfully sustained, blessed and provided for us and while we hope the worst is behind us we know that whatever lies ahead He will continue to be faithful. Flower-girl’s life story was never ours to control and we are praying God uses this chapter for His glory in powerful ways.

PS for updates on Flower-girl we post on our facebook page for ease of internet access. As of this post she is looking to be fever free from her malaria and we know the source (or location) of her infection (we are battling two things).

How encouraging to see a cute pic of Flower-girl…bet you and J– aren’t looking quite as perky. This is hardest on parents. Praying for all of you!
