We enjoyed chicken for the first time tonight here in South Sudan. It was delicious enough to be picture worthy. William exclaimed, “BEST DINNER EVER MOM!” in a loud voice about 12 times throughout the meal (sweet boy!)
Looks pretty good to me!
Why the chicken but no eggs? As a lover of eggs I was saddened to read you saying something about not being able to buy them over there. Yet, I clearly see you have access to chickens…what’s the deal:)?
It is just not culturally done here. Sometimes they will feed them to children but never adults so you never see them.
