This month I finally remembered to participate in taking 10 photos each hour on the 10th of the month. I decided to do the entire day using my cell-phone camera as my day involves alot of walking and public transportation and my normal camera was to bulky. It seems each month I participate<\/a> in this I think, well this isn’t a normal day… maybe I need to embrace the abnormal as “normal” more.<\/p>\n

\"8:15am-on<\/a>
8:15am-on the way to school PJ shows me what she worked on yesterday. Numbers. All four of us cram into the back seat each day because it is not culturally appropriate for a woman to sit up front. We get nice bonding time this way.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"8:50am<\/a>
8:50am – Walking to school. I walk a little over a mile from the kids school to mine each day. In the morning the streets are quiet…but you can see the butcher has already hung his meat out to dry<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"9:45a-I<\/a>
9:45a-I am in school. Four days a week i get to learn from my awesome teacher for two hours each morning, at which point my brain turns to total mush<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"11:15a-this<\/a>
11:15a-this is a common sight. A botatas cart. Can you see the stove on his cart? He cooks up potatoes in his charcoal stove and serves them on the street.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

\"12:10p-after<\/a>
12:10p-after leaving class I found a coffee shop to study for two hours before picking up the kids…today I got a jump start on my homework.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

\"1:10pm-<\/a>
1:10pm- gridlock traffic in the heat of the day. The view from the road as we sit in the taxi cab.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"1:55p<\/a>
1:55p – the cab drops us off on the main street and we walk through a small grass median to get to our apartment. Across the street from the starbucks is this more popular tea stand.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"2:50p-sleeping<\/a>
2:50p-sleeping boys. It is nap time an easy feat after the heat of the day!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"3:10p-school<\/a>
3:10p-school for the girls they are working on geography for this shot memorizing western European countries<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"5:10-prepping<\/a>
5:10-prepping dinner while the kids sing some of their songs from pre-school to entertain me in the kitchen<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

AND an explanation for why my 10-on-10 is three days late\u00a0 in the way of two additional pictures is that we were packing (amidst pictures) for a last minute (planned in under 12 hours from departure) trip for the weekend to the Mediterranean sea. SUCH FUN! We had a late night train ride and then woke up to this amazing view. Ahhhh<\/p>\n
